Spring Is Around The Corner

The first day of Spring is March 20th. Many pet owners will be outside with their pets enjoying the sunny weather and all that goes with it. Though it
is a wonderful time for you and your pet to spend some quality time together, Spring does bring some unforeseen dangers to your pet. Fleas, ticks and mosquitos are back and it is always advisable to have your pets on flea and heartworm prevention year round. Those parasites are back with a vengeance during the Spring and Summer months, especially if your pets spend much time outside. If you have a pond, remember dogs enjoy chewing on items so watch out for those electrical cords that run your pond pump.
