Chicks, Ducklings And Bunnies For Easter

Spring is such a lovely time of year with all of the newborn animals.

What child or adult doesn’t love a soft, cute, furry, little, baby animal. They are so popular around Easter, you can’t look at a greeting card without seeing one. What fun it would be to surprise your child with a little yellow chick or white bunny in their Easter basket. As most of you know I am not thrilled with the idea of giving animals to children during the holidays. This is why! Those sweet little baby animals grow up very fast to large, messy pets that need adequate housing and care to survive. Chicks need a heat lamp until they grow feathers. They are too small and fragile to be handled by small children. I have seen many chicks with a broken leg, because a child has dropped the chick or some unforeseen accident happened to it.  For full article, please purchase a copy of The Paper.
