On April 21st the Los Banos Volunteers For Animals and Dr. Monica Rudiger will offer their low cost spay and neuter clinic for Los Banos residents. This month’s clinic will take place at the Los Banos Veterinary Clinic at 7:30 am. This clinic will be for female cats only. Another clinic will be offered for male and female cats on April 25th. Dr. Rudiger will perform the neuter procedure in her Red Wood City Office. A Los Banos Volunteer For Animals will transport the cats from the Los Banos Animal Shelter to Dr. Rudiger’s office in the morning and return them that evening to the shelter for pick up by their owners. Please make an appointment for these clinics as soon as possible by contacting a Los Banos Volunteer For animals at (209) 827-7089. Please have your male cats at the Los Banos Animal Shelter at 7a.m. Please have your pet cats in carriers and feral cats in cat trap cages. The cost of the surgery is $20.00 plus $5.00 for any vaccinations your cat may require. Remember no food or water after midnight on the day of your cat’s surgery. You can register your cat for the clinic at the Los Banos Animal Shelter, 1000 Airport Blvd. Once again Dr. Rudiger will drive all the way from Red Wood City to perform the surgeries free of charge. The fee of $20.00 is used for surgical supplies and anaesthetic. This program is really making a difference in reducing the numbers of unwanted kittens in Los Banos.
