On Friday, August 9th, the Knights of Columbus presented a check, from their annual Tootsie Roll drive to Kings View. $2,664.65 was presented to Lonnie Cortez by Grand Knight Charles Young, and fellow Brother Knights, Ed Amaral, Terry Nunes, and Chairman of the Tootsie Roll drive, Steve Rodriguez. Over the past several years, the Knights of Columbus have ear marked the proceeds from their Tootsie Roll drive towards purchasing a van with a wheel chair lift for Kings View.
