On January 5, 2014, at approximately 11:02 p.m., officers made contact with a woman in the Police Departments Lobby. The woman, 27 claimed she was the victim of a robbery, while parked near Jo Lin Park in the 200 block of Ward Road.
The victim was reportedly visiting a male friend she met online. As the pair sat in a vehicle, they were approached by two Hispanic male subjects wearing dark clothing; believed to be in their early 20’s.
The two suspects approached the victim’s vehicle from the driver and passenger side, opening the doors and pointing guns at the pair. The suspects ordered the victim and her friend to handover their belongings. Two cellular telephones and a wallet were taken during the robbery.
The suspects were last seen running west on Greenbriar Drive.
The victim drove to the Los Banos Police Department to report the robbery. Officers canvassed the area and were unable to locate anyone matching the suspects’ description.
