On Tuesday, April 1, 2014 the Los Banos Chamber of Commerce welcomed Innovation Engineering Modular (IEM) to the Business community with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
IEM is Los Banos’ very own local manufacturer in ultra –low watt LED light bulbs. IEM LED lamps will replace incandescent bulbs that are rated from 5 to 150 watts and uses a fraction of the energy being consumed by energy efficient light bulbs found on the market today. IEM’s website states that “advancement in ultra-low watt LED energy-efficient light bulbs are 90% more efficient than an incandescent light bulb”. This relates to cost savings for consumers on their electric bills.
