On Sunday, April 27th, a number of Los Banos residents gathered at the Italo- American Lodge in Merced to honor some special people from the community, and the county.
The Merced County Old Timer’s Association, which was formed in 1942 to honor pioneers 85 years of age or older, presented a luncheon and held a recognition to the following Los Banos individuals. They included Evelyn Jensen Brandi, Danny Lewis, and J.R. Souza, and were among many other county 2014 honorees.
