On Mother’s Day the Los Banos Kiwanis Club held their annual Mother’s Day Breakfast and Raffle. Over three hundred Los Banos residents attended the delicious, all you can eat breakfast. The ham, eggs, hot cakes, orange juice and coffee breakfast was a wonderful alternative to going to a restaurant for Mother’s Day. This year Willy-Bees donated some fresh raspberries for all to enjoy. The price of the breakfast was not only reasonable but the family friendly environment is great for the kids and meeting friends. That is the wonderful thing about Los Banos, at events like these someone always ends up running into someone they know and they have a chance to chat. After breakfast the families usually enjoy a morning of shopping at the Arts and Craft Show at Pacheco Park. At this year’s breakfast I had the chance to speak with the Frontella family, a Los Banos family that grew up here but left and has now returned to raise their family.
