On August 23rd the family and friends of Harry “Catfish” Campbell held their 4th Annual Jam in honor and celebration of his life. Harry Campbell passed away from cancer on August 24, 2010. Harry was an awesome saxophonist, vocalist and friend who played the Blues and Jazz. Originally from Oakland and then Riverbank, Harry and his wife Marilyn moved to Los Banos seven years ago. Harry, or “Catfish” as he was often referred to played with a band called the Brummels in the Bay Area and with The Blue Cheese Band here in Los Banos. He was loved and respected by everyone who knew him, especially by his fellow musicians who have attended the celebration for four years. For full article, please purchase a copy of The Paper.
