A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of sitting down with Mike Amabile, candidate for Mayor of Los Banos in the upcoming election. Even though we have known each other for many years, I wanted to hear about his feelings on various topics relating to the benefits of our community.
During the past weeks, those choosing to run for office have spoken about their ideas, and what they would like to see implemented if elected. In most cases candidates met before the community facing challenging questions, and in discussions of what they would support. I felt perhaps a quiet atmosphere one on one type of conversation might help with a statement from The Paper as well as from me. I appreciate Mike taking the time for this moment.
What I came away with after listening with this candidate was the following, even though it is quite simple. This individual has the experience in leadership, and not only in the matter of this position for which he is running. Leadership comes from knowledge, experience, and caring for all you have promised to represent in some manner.
The knowledge is a part of this individual, due to his education scholastically, within the realm of government, and because of his business background within our community. For full article, please purchase a copy of The Paper.
