On a cold, foggy, wet morning on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 10:30 am. a large crowd of residents from Los Banos and surrounding towns met at the Los Banos City Hall, to take part in the celebration of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. The crowd marched from the City Hall to the Ted Falasco Arts Center. Reverend Richard Jones welcomed everyone and spoke about Rev. King and the importance of using “building blocks” to achieve bigger accomplishments. Pastor Junita Gaillard from Simply Grace Church in Gustine led the crowd in prayer. Mayor Villalta and Elizabeth Stonegrove read the Proclamation and urged everyone not to tolorate violence; Reverend King was a man of peace. For full article, please purchase a copy of The Paper.
