Los Banos Fire Fighters will swap their blue t-shirts for pink ones during the week of October 13th-18th in recognition of Cancer Awareness Day in Los Banos on October 15th. City employees will join the Fire Department in wearing pink on Cancer Awareness Day. This marks the first year that Los Banos Fire Fighters will wear pink t-shirts in October. “The Los Banos Fire Department is always looking for ways to give back to the community. This is a great cause for the department and our members to champion. Nearly everyone knows someone who has been inflicted by this terrible disease. We are hoping that with the support of the community, we can work together and continue to grow the program for years to come. I am very grateful to the Los Banos Fire Fighters Association for leading this campaign,” says Acting Fire Chief Tim Marrison.
